Senior Scientist of Stem Cell Research

Ph. D. in cell biology, molecular biology, developmental biology, and biomedical sciences with 0-2 years working experience in academic and R&D environment. Minimum 3 years hands-on experience on ESC and/or iPSC, including reprogramming of somatic cells into iPSC and directed differentiation of hESC or hiPSC into specific cell lineages. Demonstrated capability of creative thinking and problem solving. Demonstrated capability of collaboration with others. Proficiency in communication skills in both English and Chinese. In-depth knowledge on molecular signaling governing differentiation of hES cells along lineages that give rise to hepatic cells and haematopoeitic stem cells. Proficiency in molecular and cellular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA isolation, gene cloning, mammalian cell transfection, real-time PCR, microarray, Western blotting, immunocytochemistry, and flow cytometry, etc. Experience on handling mouse and human tissue biopsy.
