rESEARCH ASSISTANT i
Qualifications: BA/BS in Biology or Biologically-related scientific discipline with a minimum of 1 year experience. Understands and performs: aseptic technique, bacterial and mammalian cell culture, light and fluorescent microscopy and reagent preparation. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must able to work effectively as part of a team and also individually.
Responsibilities: The candidate is responsible for Cytotoxicity, Agarose overlay, Hemolysis (NIH & ASTM) and LAL without direct supervision. Conducts PTT, Platelet and Leukocyte, In-Vitro Hemocompatibility, Complement and BMP-2 assays, as required by client requests. Performs daily monitoring of equipment and applicable facilities.
